The Social Media Analysis Toolkit (SMAT) — co-created by Mozilla Fellow Emmi Bevensee — provides a free, open, and intuitive way to scrutinize what’s trending on internet platforms.
This toolkit will help support the dissemination of reliable, truthful information that underpins our democracy. RESIST stands for (Recognise disinformation, Early warning, Situational Insight, Impact analysis, Strategic communication, Track outcomes).
In collaboration with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan and the Public Foundation for Support and Development of National Mass Media of Uzbekistan, RNTC brings you this infodemic toolkit in order to help journalists successfully report on the COVID-19 crisis. The project was brought about due to the rise in dis-, mis-, and malinformation during the crisis, and aims to provide you with the tools to improve your understanding on this topic. The videos, tools and resources take approximately one hour per module. You can also contribute by adding to our “Debunkers Database” as well as see what are some of the peer reported debunks.
