## Welcome to our Policy and Advocacy Centre

GFMD works to gather knowledge and share relevant resources and initiatives with its partners and members - to create an evidence-based body of knowledge to improve our actions. Our objectives include local and global approaches to enhance the ability of the membership and the GFMD Secretariat to influence policy making.&#x20;

## Our goals

We aim to offer policymakers, academics or practitioners the necessary background information to facilitate decisions making processes, based on fact-checked information about media development and journalism.
